Description:

I had a ball doing this album with George. We did a lot of albums together, for Famous Door Records and many Jazz festivals. George is on my Secret Love album, also played and wrote the arrangements for my Christmas Album. One of the truly great trombone players, and a wonderful guy!

I love that I was able to do these record dates, and play trumpet and alto on the same tune! Check out this nice line George wrote based on “What Is This Thing Called Love”. I brought my alto saxophone to the session, then decided to play the head on trumpet, and then the solo on alto saxophone.
