Life’s a Melody, by Zvonimir Tosic
I am very excited that this is a new book written by Zvonimir Tosic about my life in jazz over the last 6 decades. It has been a 5-year project and also gives a wonderful perspective on Art itself.
Dedication by Glenn Zottola

I dedicate my music, and these reflections upon it, to my parents, whose love and encouragement made everything possible.
My mom, Marie, played piano like Count Basie. When I was five years old, she sat me on her knee at the piano and taught me hundreds of songs from the Great American Songbook—all by ear with no sheet music—and showed me how to swing.
My dad, Frank, was a gifted trumpet player, conductor, and arranger. He started me on trumpet and exposed me early on to jazz (Louis Armstrong) and classical music (Puccini and Debussy).
I want to thank Zvonimir Tosic, a great writer and artist, who dedicated five years toputting my life together in such a beautiful way.
I want to thank Jamie Faranda-Geidel, a superb editor, proofreader, and artist, for all her support and help with this book.
Lastly, I want to thank Automattic for helping me design a new WordPress website for release of this book. Their CEO, Matt Mullenweg, is a huge jazz fan, and he connected me with Automattic’s Special Projects team who helped me with the website.
With love,
Glenn Zottola
