I just received a test pressing from the record label of my Clifford Brown tribute.  Pretty emotional stuff taking me back 52 years.   I was 13 years old and my first big gig was the Atlantic City Jazz Festival in 1961 on the bill with Gerry Mulligan , Oscar Peterson Trio ,  Art Blakey and Dinah Washington.   I remember like yesterday standing in the wings waiting to go on being mezmorized by Dinah singing.   I was just getting into Clifford Brown at that time so everything was coming together for me.   I took a track Dinah did in 1957 shortly after Clifford tragically died and had a special arrangement made for me as an epilogue to close out my tribute.  Track below :
